I was around 35weeks when I bought your course online and I loved it.

online course overdue waterbirth

Hi Melissa, thank you for your nice email. I wrote my birth story for you. It was an amazing experience and I thank you so much 😊

Our second daughter Luna was born 24/6/2020 with her 3430g and 53cm.

My daughter was already overdue so I was trying to help her out a little. I was walking a lot, bouncing on the ball, having hot baths and sex. I was really relaxed the whole pregnancy and I wasn’t scared at all, I was looking forward to meeting our baby girl. When I was around 35weeks I bought your course online and I loved it. I did all of it but especially visualisations and breathing techniques made a huge difference! Thank you. I was also relaxed with the birth of my first daughter but I didn’t breathe, I hold my breath and wrinkle my face and waiting for the end of the wave. Also, I was just laying in the bed and waiting for end. That’s why my first birth took 28hours. At that time I had no idea why breathing is so important.

Anyway, I had a positive experience from it because my first daughter was born in pool and I didn’t have any stitches so I was quite happy.

This time my waves started very light and irregular around 4pm. I went for a walk, cooked dinner and around 8pm I was sure I’m going to the real labour. I went to watch some funny movies and bounce on the ball. Waves were stronger and closer. I wanted to stay at home for as long as possible. I called my friend to come to look after my first daughter Lilly and had a hot bath with some clary sage oil. I continued to relax, breathe, and change positions. At 2 am I’ve decided to go to the hospital, waves were very strong and close, I couldn’t stand straight. When we’ve got to the hospital at 3 am I was just 4cm ( I was expecting more haha) I got into the pool and continued breathing. Then my water broke ( i think around 4:30 am)and from that time I was opening quite fast. I think around 7 am I was 9cm and soon ready to breathe down.

The last stage was really quick, just a few pushes and she was here. I didn’t have any birth injuries and she started feeding very well. We had 3hours of bonding time, skin on skin before we went to the room. It was a beautiful experience and I’m so happy that I took a course because compared with my first birth I had all the time control, I knew what I wanted and what to expect. I had a really nice birth experience and it makes me want to have more babies haha. THANK YOU 😊
