We aim to ensure that when you finish your Hypnobubs™ Hypnobirthing Practitioner Childbirth Educator Training, you will feel confident in setting up and running your own hypnobirthing classes. You will receive face-to-face training, fantastic support and all the training materials (PowerPoint slides, set-up information, recent birthing videos, hypnobirthing practice albums plus more) to enable you to set your business up with ease.

ABOUT THE COURSE
Our Hypnobubs™ Hypnobirthing Practitioner Training is run over 6 x live online webinar sessions, in addition to additional training, resources, extra reading and assessment. If you require further training in childbirth and/or hypnosis – additional modules can be added to your training. See ‘Costs & Prerequisites’ below, for more details.
For participants who are trained midwives, the Practitioner Training is an Australian College of Midwives (ACM) CPD Recognised Course (21 CPD Points).

COSTS AND PREREQUISITES
CHILDBIRTH TRAINING
If you are not a midwife, student midwife (2nd year onwards), doula, childbirth educator, doctor or nurse (with childbirth training); then our ‘Introduction to Childbirth’ course is required. This course has been specially designed for the Hypnobubs™ program and is presented by Clinical Lecturer of Midwifery, Mae’t Pearson.
The cost for this module is AUD $350 and it consists of invaluable information for pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum, Ina May's Guide to Childbirth, 5 hours of video lectures and a comprehensive workbook.
HYPNOSIS TRAINING
If you don't already have a background in hypnosis training - you will need to complete our 20-hour home-study ‘Basics of Hypnosis for Childbirth’ module. It is preferred that you complete this module before the Practitioner Course begins, when possible.
The cost for this module is AUD $350 and this includes your comprehensive textbook and access to the online learning platform with lessons, activities, instructional videos and mp3.
PRACTITIONER TRAINING
The Hypnobubs™ Practitioner Training Course includes 6 x live webinar sessions of 3 hours duration, with a bonus 1-hour private one-on-one video conference with Melissa Spilsted following the course; all required practitioner training course materials (syllabus, lesson plans, scripts, birthing videos, mp3s, eBook, folio, textbook, PowerPoint presentations); advice on how to set up a viable and successful hypnobirthing business; expert training on how to engage your parents and enhance their learning experience; your first year’s membership fee (value AUD $495); additional training for starting your business and your own practitioner directory listing on our website.
The cost for the Practitioner Training is AUD $2200 (plus any required prerequisite course modules). All training is live and interactive. A deposit of AUD $500 is required to secure your place in the training and the remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the course start date.
As an experienced Adult Trainer, Teacher, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Hypnobirthing Practitioner and three-time hypnobirthing mother herself; Melissa Spilsted will guide you through the course content and teach you how to engage the participants of your classes. You will be provided with comprehensive hypnobirthing training and materials, which will give you the leading edge in your practice.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The course also includes information to help get you started in your hypnobirthing practice. By the end of your training, it is expected that you will have the tools required to confidently and successfully teach the Hypnobubs™ program.
After training, you will be required to complete an assessment, obtain a First Aid Certificate, arrange for your own insurance and sign the ‘Practitioner Agreement’ before becoming certified as a Hypnobubs™ Hypnobirthing Practitioner Childbirth Educator. Upon commencing your own courses, all class materials can be ordered through the Hypnobubs™ distribution center. Hypnobubs™ Practitioners are invited to join our online Practitioners support group, and make use of the free Hypnobubs™ documents and forms and other relevant resources.
Your first year of certification and membership fee (from the date of training) is included in your Hypnobubs™ Practitioner Course (value AUD $495). An annual renewal process, fee, code of conduct, valid First Aid Certificate (unless you have current medical qualifications), insurance and continuing professional development are required to remain certified to teach the program, have access to our teaching materials, ongoing support and keep your profile/listing page live on our website.
